Winterfest Online 2010

This year was my first participation in Winterfest Online---it was also the first time I'd ever been to WFOL while it was going on. I rejoined fandom in the spring of 2009, so I missed WFOL for that year. And what an experience--a week-long online gathering of a bunch of people who...Get It. It was lovely, and magical, and although I was sick during most of it (which made me doubly happy it was a virtual party, because else I'd have been celebrating from the hospital chamber and you know how Father is....) it makes me look forward to the convention even more.

I participated in two stories for WFOL this year; one was Chapter Four of the Classic Round Robin (a link to which you'll find below) and the other was a..."homework"
assignment. Basically, five friends got together and decided to rewrite---or in some cases, expand---the ending of a "Beauty and the Beast" episode. Our choice was "Nor Iron Bars a Cage," and the stories we wrote, plus one lovely song, are featured below..
